Tuition
It is our desire to provide an KTI education for the children of any family that desires it, regardless of socioeconomic circumstance. We do not want to see students turned away simply because tuition exceeds a family’s ability to pay.
Tuition Schedule
K-6th Grade: 20,140 LD
The partnership between KTI Mission School and its families includes fulfilling obligations to one another. We cannot provide the desired benefits of an KTI education or serve the needs of our KTI family without tuition revenue. It is important that families understand that committing to KTI and entering into this financial commitment creates a binding agreement necessary for the financial operation of the school.
First Time Applicant Fees
1. Application Fee: $25.00.If the student is not accepted, $15 is refundable. The maximum application fee per family is $50.
2. Commitment Fee: Equal to one-half of a family’s total first monthly tuition payment. The fee is non-refundable, due within thirty days after acceptance, and applied to the annual, first semester, or first of twelve (12) monthly tuition payments, as the case may be.
Specific Refund Provisions
Understanding that situations arise which may necessitate the withdrawal of a student, while at the same time being mindful of the financial responsibilities of KTI Mission School , certain refund provisions will be made upon the formal withdrawal of a student from KTI. All withdrawals must be present in writing to the school office, and students are still considered enrolled until such notice is received.
1. If a student is withdrawn prior to August 1st, no tuition liability will be assessed for that student other than the non-refundable Commitment Fee.
2. If a student is withdrawn on or after August 1st, and prior to his/her first day of school, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 25% of the annual tuition for that student.
3. If a student is withdrawn on or after his/her first day of school, and prior to the first day of the second semester, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 50% of the annual tuition for that student.
4. If a student is withdrawn at any time during the second semester, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 100% of the annual tuition for that student.
Tuition Assistance Program
How Tuition Assistance Works
If you wish to enroll your child at KTI Mission School, but feel you are unable to meet the demands of the tuition schedule, a family may apply for tuition assistance after completing the Admissions Application. We partner with a third party organization (CFTAOLY) which provides the school with an objective evaluation of a family’s economic need.
The financial information provided by Cftaoly is used to make an offer for Tuition Assistance. Applicants will receive a Tuition Offer Letter.
In order to fill the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of education, we partner with individuals and businesses who make generous financial contributions to support the mission KTI Mission School.
If you are interested in partnering with us, please visit our Giving page or call the school office at (281) 602-8006. Someone in our development office would be delighted to help you customize your giving plan.
