Student Handbook
KTI OM & S student policies, expectations, discipline, financial obligations, parent responsibilities, chapel/devotion, uniforms, attendance, and school culture for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Purpose of the Student Handbook
This Student Handbook helps parents, guardians, students, teachers, and school leadership understand the expectations of Kingdoms Temple International Orphanage Mission and School (KTI OM & S). It should be read as a guide for school conduct, academic responsibility, Christian character, financial accountability, safety, and partnership between the home and school.

Official School Name: Kingdoms Temple International Orphanage Mission and School (KTI OM & S)
Location: Peace Community, Boys Town, Lower Margibi County, Liberia
Motto: “Fostering the growth of the whole person in faith, academic excellence, and service.”
Mission and Vision
Mission: To educate and disciple children through Christian values, academic excellence, moral discipline, and service to others.
Vision: To raise a generation of children who love God, honor their families, serve their communities, and become responsible leaders in Liberia and beyond.
Christian Foundation
KTI OM & S is a Christian school. Students are expected to participate respectfully in daily devotion, prayer, Bible teaching, Friday chapel, Scripture recitation, and school worship activities. Parents who enroll their children at KTI OM & S are expected to respect and support the Christian identity of the school.
Attendance and Punctuality
- Students are expected to attend school daily and arrive on time.
- Parents should notify the school when a child is absent or sick.
- Repeated lateness or absenteeism may result in parent conference and corrective action.
- Students should remain in school for the full school day unless properly excused by school leadership.
Uniform and Appearance
- Students must wear the approved school uniform and come to school neat and clean.
- P.E. attire should be worn according to the school schedule and policy.
- Casual Day, when approved, must remain modest, respectful, and consistent with Christian school values.
- Students should not wear clothing, hairstyles, or accessories that distract from learning or violate school expectations.
Academic Expectations
- Students must complete classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, and assignments.
- Students should bring required books, notebooks, writing materials, and supplies.
- Parents are expected to monitor homework and report cards and attend PTA/report review meetings.
- Report cards are used to communicate academic progress, conduct, effort, and attendance.
Student Conduct and Discipline
KTI OM & S expects students to respect God, teachers, classmates, school property, and themselves. Discipline is intended to correct behavior, restore order, teach responsibility, and protect the school community.
- Students must obey teachers and school leaders.
- Students must speak respectfully and avoid insults, threats, bullying, fighting, stealing, lying, or destruction of property.
- Physical fighting is not accepted and may result in automatic suspension according to school discipline policy.
- KTI OM & S does not promote abuse or beating. Discipline should be corrective, supervised, and consistent with school policy.
Parent and Guardian Responsibilities
- Support the Christian mission and policies of KTI OM & S.
- Ensure children arrive on time, dressed properly, and prepared for school.
- Pay tuition and fees according to the school schedule.
- Attend required PTA meetings, report reviews, orientations, and conferences.
- Communicate respectfully with teachers and school leadership.
- Support discipline, homework, reading, and good behavior at home.
Tuition, Fees, and Financial Obligations
Parents and guardians are responsible to pay registration, tuition, entrance testing, uniforms, P.E. fees, graduation fees where applicable, books where applicable, and other approved school fees on time. Outstanding debt must be settled before re-registration or release of certain school records, according to school policy.
Books and School Materials
Books are included for K1–Grade 3. Grades 4–6 are responsible for 50% of textbook costs according to school policy. Students should keep books clean, protected, and returned or replaced when required.
Chapel, Devotion, and School Programs
Daily devotion and Friday chapel are part of the KTI OM & S school culture. Students are expected to participate respectfully. School programs may include Bible Quiz, Spelling Bee, P.E., field trips, Family Day, parent/caregiver training, chapel activities, graduation, and awards programs.
Safety, Supervision, and Pickup
- Students should remain in supervised areas during school hours.
- Parents should pick up students on time after school.
- Late pickup may result in a late fee according to school policy.
- Visitors should report to the school office and follow school procedures.
Scholarship and Tuition Assistance
Scholarship or tuition assistance is limited and based on school policy, available resources, student conduct, attendance, academic effort, parent/guardian cooperation, and other requirements. Scholarship support may be reduced or withdrawn if the family or student does not meet school expectations.
Parent Agreement
By enrolling a child at KTI OM & S, parents/guardians agree to support the school’s Christian values, academic expectations, discipline policies, financial obligations, attendance requirements, and communication procedures.
