Purpose of Teacher Orientation
Teacher Orientation introduces all teachers and staff to the mission, spiritual culture, academic expectations, discipline policies, child-safety expectations, communication systems, and professional standards of KTI OM & S.
Teacher Commitment
- Support the Christian mission and values of KTI OM & S.
- Prepare and follow lesson plans.
- Maintain classroom order without abuse or violence.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, chapel, and required programs.
- Use respectful speech and model Christian character before students.
- Supervise students carefully during class, break, chapel, P.E., lunch, and dismissal.

- Daily devotion and Friday chapel expectations
- Lesson planning and classroom instruction
- Attendance, grading, and report-card responsibilities
- No beating / no abuse discipline policy
- Parent communication and professional boundaries
- School calendar, marking periods, and PTA/report review expectations
